BORED? Creationism and Evolution--your thoughts?

I was raised Catholic and was taught that GOD created the earth. I am now not a practicing Catholic and I am a major in biology. I personally see no proof or any scientific evidence to prove that there is a higher being. I believe in evolution where there are hard facts. I believe that everyone has a right to their own opinion and I am not one to push my beliefs on others, but where is the proof??? Other than the Bible? When someone can give me some real hard evidence that there is I might consider believing again.
