Is Miles Davis just as much an accomplished musical innovator as Beethoven?

Beethoven didn't have a Wayne Shorter or a Herbie Han. I think the collaboration was fantastic and I listen to Miles more often than I listen to Beethoven but if you're going to rank individual musical accomplishment then Ludwig gets the nod.
