Whats the Recovery process after Bone Tumor Surgery?

I am getting a bone tumor removed from the side of my leg... they think it is Osteochondroma, but they wont know for sure until they put it under the microscope. because it could be Osteosarcoma. I am just wondering though what is the recovery process after this is removed off of my knee. Will i just need to wear a small knee brace? Will it be a brace that goes from my thigh to my shin? Or will it be a hard cast? How long will i need to be on crutches? How long until i can be active again (competitive dance) thank you for your guy's help, if someone could please answer all of these questions for me! THANK YOU!
